People Function stepped in to support Hairstory during a period of huge transition… Over a ~5 month period, between founders stepping out and a new CEO stepping in, the People Function team immediately took over the ongoing management of the HR function and got to work on providing their expertise to begin to build structure and process around areas such performance reviews, onboarding, compliance and more. They laid a foundation so that the new CEO and his leadership team could focus on driving revenue and attracting top talent and helped ensure a successful transition. We brought People Function in as a backfill for an outgoing HR leader, and they came in and immediately took over from minute 1 in a pretty independent way and integrated themselves into every facet of our business.
